Below is a series of panels I created for a short film animation trailer.

An eye open and dilates.

Macro.

Shot 1b

Closer on the iris, we see a crow reflected.

Macro.

Shot 2a

The camera sweeps through trees and arcs down behind brother and samurai.

Aerial into Wide.

Shot 2b

Detail of their feet. Each step goes deep into the mud.

MED/ CU.

Shot 3a

Samurai crawls to the cliff edge and sees the enemy marching.

High Angle/Wide.

Shot 4a

Samurai surprised to see the enemy this close.

Low Angle MED/ CU.

Shot 5a

A sentry walks up to the mouth of the cave and looks in. Samurai appears and runs up behind him.

Wide.

Shot 6a

Samurai decapitates the sentry before he can turn around.

MED/ CU.

Shot 7a

Brother warms himself by the fire.

Wide.

Shot 7b

Lightning strikes, revealing Samurai’s silhouette.

Wide.

Reverse on Samurai.

Wide.

Single water droplet.

Macro.

Droplet hits water.

Macro.

Shot 10a

Samurai floats on the water, then stands up.

Wide.

Shot 10b

Samurai in frame as a giant wave forms. The wave moves slowly as it comes toward him and breaks just over his head.
